The third meeting of the first session of the China MOOCS Advanced Placement Program Council was held at Tsinghua University

On November 20, 2016, the third meeting of the first session of the China MOOCAP Council was held in the Science Building of Tsinghua University School of Medicine。Mr. Wang Dianjun, President of the High School affiliated to Tsinghua University and Executive Director of the MOOCAP Council, attended the meeting and gave a keynote speech。

Wang traces the history of Tsinghua High School from the establishment of the China Advanced Placement Research Team in 2009 to the successful launch of the project after reporting to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education and the Ministry of Education。After the establishment of the project, under the leadership of the Chinese Society of Education, the Chinese college Advanced Placement course has been promoted offline, and has been widely recognized by the majority of secondary schools, universities and the society。Wang Dianjun praised the important role played by the Chinese Society of Education in this process。He mentioned that on the premise of the successful online and offline pilot of Chinese college advanced placement courses, a unified organization should be jointly established, and proposed that Yang Nianlu, vice president and secretary general of the Chinese Society of Education, and You Sen, deputy secretary general, join the MOOCAP Council。The proposal was unanimously recognized and warmly responded by the participants。

The meeting confirmed the achievements of MOOCAP in the recent period, and also reviewed the charter of the Board of Directors of China MOOCAP and the decision on the appointment and removal of personnel。The meeting specifically mentioned that Tsinghua University and Xi 'an Jiaotong University have completed the work of MOOCAP credit certification, and other governing universities of MOOCAP Council will also carry out the work of MOOCAP credit certification。

Yang Bin, Co-Chairman of the MOOCAP Council and Vice President of Tsinghua University，Zheng Qinghua, rotating chairman and Vice President of Xi 'an Jiaotong University，Yang Nianlu, Vice President and Secretary General of Chinese Society of Education，Nie Fenghua, Executive Director and Deputy Director of the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education，Han Ning, director of the Evaluation Office of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education，Liu Zhen, Director of the Admissions Office of Tsinghua University, and more than 40 representatives from 15 universities and 16 middle schools attended the meeting。The Office of Advanced Placement at Tsinghua High School participated in the organization and preparation of this conference。
