The third offline teacher workshop of Chinese Advanced Placement Courses was held at Tsinghua High School

On the afternoon of March 9, the opening ceremony of the third CAP (Chinese Advanced Placement) Offline Teacher Workshop was held in Conference room B106 of Tsinghua High School。More than 270 teachers from more than 70 middle schools across the country gathered at the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University to deeply study the "Advanced Placement", an innovative model linking basic education and higher education。

The opening ceremony was hosted by Hou Jinke, Director of CAP Teacher Workshop and Director of the Office of Advanced Placement at Tsinghua High School Affiliated University。Mr. Wang Dianjun, Executive Chairman of CAP Council and President of Tsinghua High School, spoke first，Combining the beneficial experience of AP course in America and the educational reality of our country，The creation process and concept purpose of CAP were introduced in detail，At the same time, the participants also showed the design development of CAP courses and credit certification and other recent gratifying achievements。

Liu Zhen, executive chairman of CAP Council and director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office of Tsinghua University, analyzed the student selection criteria of universities and emphasized that online education is a new means and mechanism for connecting "big" and "China"。Nie Fenghua, Secretary-General of the CAP Council and deputy Director of the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education, introduced the development status of Xuetang Online, CAP's operating platform, and MOOC (MOOC)。Chen Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of CAP Council and Director of the Communication and Liaison Department of the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education, introduced CAP's offline evaluation system and analyzed the offline examination held in January。Ma Yuchun, associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tsinghua University, attended as a famous MOOCs teacher and shared her experience in blended and flipped classroom teaching, which was well received by the participating teachers。

Each CAP Teacher Workshop has two online and offline sessions. The online session ended on February 28。The offline session will last four days from March 9 to 12。The offline teacher workshop will carry out subject knowledge training through group learning and results demonstration, so as to ensure that participating teachers can lay a solid foundation and better serve students in learning advanced placement courses。
